Closing garage door 7:30 Sunday night in teeming rain, door sounded different. Investigating, discovered one of the lifting/lowering cables had snapped and my husband and I working together couldn't raise or lower the door. Ran an online search; contacted Precision because ad listed 24/7 service and quick repair time. Work scheduled for Monday morning: technicians were prompt, courteous, and clear in describing and recommending options. Door rollers, drum(s), cables and springs were all replaced in about an hour for reasonable fee. Top notch!

This was not so much of a repair as an adjustment. I had a new opener installed earlier in the week and this morning it would not operate properly. Did not want to mess anything up, so called Precision to have someone come to check it out. Apparently the sensors were a bit out of line and prohibiting the door from operating. Travis was very nice and was able to correct the problem right away. Once again, nothing but a great experience with Precision!! Thank you!

This is the second time I've called Precision and it's the second time I have been totally satisfied. I had some work done last year and did not hesitate to call on them again. Travis (the technician) was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He did not try to "upsell" but was able to provide a clear explanation of what I needed and how much it would cost. In addition, he was able to provide the parts and install them all within 1-1/2 hours on the day that I called. This kind of service is rare to find and I would absolutely recommend Precision for anyone who needs to have garage doors serviced. Thank you, Precision!

We had frayed cables on our garage door, needed repair. I called Precision based on reviews I read. Happy to say everything I read was true. Great service. Emailed company at 7:00am. Received my first call at 8:30 from company rep.. Tech called about an hour and a half later. Polite professional. Called again after getting to house and checking out damaged cables etc....gave an estimate and after agreeing on what work needed to be done, completed job within a reasonable time.. He then called again. Went over billing etc....never expected job to be completed the same day. Very impressed. Tech was knowledgeable and never tried to up sell product. Got home from work and door has never worked better. When it is time to replace these doors, I will definitely call Precision and request Darren.

Travis and Todd came to our house this morning - right on time! to estimate for new garage doors. There were many obstacles to overcome as our garage was built in the 1930's and is not typical and could not accommodate standard doors without adjustments. They were very professional, patient and knowledgeable. It was so nice to work with them and we are looking forward to our new garage doors being installed.

The service guy was very professional and thorough. The repair was done superbly together with greasing and lubing done to the rest of garage door openers. The service person also proactively offered advice on how to keep the garage door openers well maintained and trouble free throughout the year. I had my garage door repaired a week ago by Precision, and it needed a minor adjustment. I called, and the technician came out the next morning and fixed the problem. He was prompt (actually early!), courteous and efficient. Precision honored their warranty, and I was not charged anything for this follow up visit.

Travis installed our new garage door. We had a problem with the wiring in our garage and he had to come back because the remotes stopped working. He found the problem quickly and fixed the problem, He made sure all remotes were working and that I was completely satisfied.

Found advert in New Canaan CT yellow pages with local phone number. Called Sat 11AM (4/5/14) after another company failed to show up for Sat morn appointment, scheduled several days earlier. Pleasantly surprised Precision could come same day. This was important since we would be unavailable for another 2 weeks. Certified techs/uniforms and insurance are critical. Phone service rep was well spoken and knowledgeable. Tech quick to identify prob and advise us - spent 2 hours Sat afternoon (4-6PM) to do a large job which turned out to be not only repair of stripped gears, ball bearings etc., but replacement of older springs that were not appropriate for the door. Tech phoned twice to say when he would arrive. Also the e-mail confirmation for the appointment with information about the technicians was an unexpected level of customer service and professionalism that is rare today. The whole experience with Precision was outstanding.
